This is a review of The Honor Series by Teresa Mummert so far. There are currently three books released in this series with the fourth one set to release August 15th, 2013. I went on Amazon looking for something similar to Fifty Shades/Crossfire and ended up finding this series and fell in love.
The first book in the series is “Honor Student.” Enter Emma, a troubled college student who is living with her absent Aunt due to her parents being killed in a car accident. As a result of being tardy to class, she has her first encounter with William Honor (hint the name of the books) who is subbing in that class.
The second book is “Honor Thy Teacher.” This tell the same story just through the eyes of William Honor. You get to hear his personal thoughts on Emma and Angela, a co-worker who is hoping to be more to William. It also lets you inside William’s secret world.
The third book “Honor & Betray.” This one is probably my favorite so far in the series. It goes back to Emma. Emma and William’s relationship is tested in this book. You have to really pay attention in this book because this is where you will start to draw your own conclusions as to who William really is.
Overall, I love this series. It is Fifty Shades(ish). This love story makes no sense at the same time makes all the sense in the world. I am actually re-reading Honor & Betray. My only complaint is that part 4 wont be out until 08/15/13.
